Free expert advice for care home owners
Care home managers and business owners are to be given the chance to benefit from professional, expert advice on all aspects of running a care home, in a special seminar hosted by local legal and financial specialists – free of charge!
Hosted by Southend-based law firm BTMK and Lloyds TSB, this free-to-attend, interactive seminar will focus on the care home industry. It includes and will include an indispensable advice session regarding the issues surrounding Care Quality Commission registration, as well as many other vital subjects relating to running a business in this sector.
Attendees will benefit from a total of four informative presentations, given by representatives from the two firms. Subjects covered include an update on relevant employment legislation, advice and information on buying and selling a care home, and a talk on care homes and the state of the lending market.
Presenting the discussions will be BTMK partners Nitin Khandhia and Fiona McAnaw, BTMK commercial solicitor Lee Emptage, and Lloyds TSB representatives-healthcare banking consultant John Judge and head of social banking Mark Ellis.
BTMK chief executive, Godfrey Mather, said: “Running a care home is not easy, as there are so many legal issues to be aware of, especially with the upcoming changes to the registration process making things more complicated. That is why it is important that business owners within this sector have access to clear, reliable and professional advice to ensure they are running their care homes legitimately and efficiently.”
The seminar will take place on Thursday 1st July from 9.30am to 12.30pm, at the Park Inn Palace Hotel, Church Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 2AL.
