London Southend Airport

London Southend Airport is a long-established regional airport for South East Essex and is the Eastern Gateway to London with very exciting times ahead.  A new airport railway station providing fast and frequent train services direct to Stratford (for Docklands and Canary Wharf) and to central London's Liverpool Street Station is now open, providing its passengers with faster door-to-door times inbound to London than most other London airports - and at lower costs.  With Easyjet making London Southend Airport its newest home in the United Kingdom, the airport expansions plans have been described as the best thing to happen to Southend and the surrounding areas for many years.

The expansion of the airport is an important component on the planning for the London Olympics and BTMK's Sean Callaghan has been involved with the senior personnel at London Southend for some time now to ensure that everything is in hand for the grand opening of the new terminal and facilities in the coming months.
