Accidents on the road
Road accidents damage thousands of lives each year. Department of Transport figures for 2007 show that 30,720 people were killed or seriously injured on the roads in Great Britain and there were 247,780 road casualties.
You may be an extremely safe and competent driver, but you can still suffer as a result of other drivers’ negligence. Passengers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians are also vulnerable to road accidents.
If you have been affected by a road traffic accident, we can help you to receive the compensation that will make it easier for you to start putting your life back together again.
Where the negligent driver is insured, damages are recoverable through their insurance company but even if the negligent motorist is uninsured or cannot be traced, we can help. In these cases, it may be possible to pursue a claim for compensation through the insurance industry-funded Motor Insurers Bureau.
