Where parents, who are not married to one another, decide to separate it is often necessary to consider what capital and financial provision should be made to ensure that the child is adequately provided for.

It is important for any parent in such circumstances to seek early advice as to what financial provision they could claim or they will have to make, in the interests of the child.
