Employees are under an obligation to give their employers notice of their decision to end their employment.
If the employee has a written contract of employment or has agreed terms orally with their employer, they will need to give notice in accordance with the terms of that contract.
Employee’s who have no agreed terms are obliged to give their employer the statutory minimum notice of one week. For detailed advice on your contractual and statutory notice periods please contact our team.
